Slow Feast respects your time and your data. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why, and how to opt out.
Page analytics: We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits, see which recipes are popular, and identify pages that load slowly. We do not collect IP addresses, cookies, or any identifying information beyond aggregated page-view counts.
Search queries: If you use our search box, the query is logged in aggregate so we can improve relevance and identify recipe gaps. Queries are not associated with any individual visitor.
Email: If you contact us, we keep the email until the conversation is resolved, then archive it for one year for reference. We never sell, share, or use your email for marketing without explicit opt-in.
The site displays advertising in clearly marked slots. We use Google AdSense, which may set cookies for ad personalization. You can manage these preferences via Google Ad Settings.
Slow Feast itself does not set tracking cookies. Third-party services we embed (advertising, fonts) may set their own cookies under their own terms.
If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to request information about, or deletion of, any data we hold that is associated with you. Email privacy [at] slow-feast.example and we will respond within 30 days.
